Yes, that's right, SHELVES! I have been thinking about shelves a lot lately. What they should look like, what they should hold, how large or small they should be. I am looking for shelves to go above my bed, sturdy enough for several books of all sizes, maybe something like this:
I wish! It would crumble beneath the weight of such tomes as Personal Finance For Dummies and my 8 in 1 Jane Austen book (bookmark rests between pgs 4/5). Josh mentioned rope shelves, and this:
... certainly seems a bit more realistic as far as my carpentry skills are concerned. :) They would probably need to be 4-5" wider, which would make them look more like (minus the shark, really):

I would LOVE to have something like this hanging in the corner above Oso and Olly's cage. I have hopeful plans to create a mini corner perch palace and a couple of these would make a great base, I think?
