1. How Do You Know
starring Paul Rudd, Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson
This was a movie full of giggles. It was bad. Not REALLY bad, but kinda bad, though Mr. Rudd is a dreamboat which totally excuses that fact. Reese is cute too, gimme her legs please? I had a hard time relating to these characters, the whole thing was just hella cheesy. But I'll basically see anything, anytime, anywhere- so I was entertained.
2. La Nana (The Maid)
starring Catalina Saavedra
This movie was terribly awkward. The Maid, ever stubborn and territorial, tries to hold her place when the family she works for hires someone to help her... then another... then another, all except one of which she drives away by being a real bitch. It gave me dark feelings and I was convinced someone was going to be killed at any second. I liked it.
3. Groundhog Day
starring Bill Murray
A classic. What more is there to say? I never figured out why he just doesn't stay up all night. Don't you think something would have happened?
4. Burlesque
starring Christina Aguilera and CHER
This was one of the few movies I saw at a regularly priced showing- then again at Kennedy School. I can't get enough of the dancing! I wish they would have talked less and danced more. I want to go to a Burlesque show in Portland now. So sexy!
5. Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work
starring... Joan Rivers. Duh.
Apparently this was considered a documentary. I call it a testament to this woman's crazy. But it's the good kind of crazy, right?
What have you seen lately?
