35mm

Sigh. I always luv luv luv luv luv the look of 35mm 1,000,000 more times than digital. Okay, 100 more times. Alright alright maybe only like 10. It's just so special, and now that I'm trying to teach myself how to work a camera completely manually, it's also surprising and unpredictable. I like that combination. I have been toying with the idea of selling my Nikon but I just don't think I could do it... nu uh. Not yet. Film developing and printing is expensive!

This weekend Josh and I hiked up to Council Crest. We've been trying to get out and hike more, specifically every Saturday or Sunday morning, but this was the first time in a couple of weeks we actually did it. I was in a foul mood. Here are some photos from then- I used the Pentax we found for the first time. Actually the second, but the first roll I shot is Provia 100F, a type of slide film, which I need to take to a different lab to have developed, and I haven't done yet. These pictures are kind of boring but that is a-ok as I am figuring how to work things. Maybe they will always be boring! We'll find out.

old 4th and wtf

I just had some film developed from this summer. I pretty much NEVER let that much time pass- after I finish a roll I am usually found RUNNING to have it processed and put onto a photo cd... I'm not sure what happened this time. I think my digicam distracted me.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: I looked at LUTS today (well, yesterday I guess) and there was some whack shit happening: the header photo was about 1/3 its normal size, some foul vertical green bar was showing up on the right, which caused a gross horizontal scroll to show itself on the bottom. No. Thank. You. Like I said before, I really don't know things about the internet. I don't know ANY sorts of things about html/css. I have no idea what's going on. So as is stated above, I'ma wait things out til Sunday (if I can hold it, eeeee!) and hope things fall into place. Header photo is ok for now, but there are a few other things I'll have to see about.

Is anyone seeing LUTS differently than you have before? Don't be shy. Tell me tell me please! What is different about it? Are you using the same browser? Which browser is that? Oh really? Which version? TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT.
