party time

YOU GUYS! Tonight is Hawthorne's 1st Annual Holiday Stroll- on, you guessed it- SE Hawthorne Boulevard. Come one! Come all! Global Exchange will be open until 9pm, and everything in the store is 10% off! We still have 14 bottles of wine left, and amazing Canaan Nabali Tree olive oil for you to enjoy with deliciously fresh baked bread from Bread & Ink just up the street.

35th and Hawthorne!
See ya there!

Yesterday I had a dream I opened my own business. A melange of three sweat-free business approaches: fair trade things on a global scale, handcrafted by artisans in other countries; local goods made right here in Portland; & recyled for re-use vintage items, which don't create a demand for new, socially irresponsibly assembled/constructed things. I don't know about this. It really is a dream for now. We will talk more about it later!
